About Let’s Prototype
At Let’s Prototype, we transform ambitious ideas into real products.
We design medical devices, AI-powered products, Industrial IoT systems, robotics, and consumer electronics for startups, inventors, and companies around the world.
No production maintenance. No legacy products. No repetitive engineering.
Every project is different.Every product presents new technical challenges.
We’re looking for an engineer who enjoys solving complex multidisciplinary problems and developing products from the ground up.
About the Role
As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you’ll lead the electronic architecture of innovative products, from the concept stage through the development of fully functional prototypes.
You’ll work across hardware, firmware, and IoT, collaborating closely with industrial designers, software engineers, and product managers to create reliable, manufacturable, and scalable electronic systems.
This role combines electronics, embedded software, systems architecture, and applied R&D.
Responsibilities
Hardware Design
- Design custom PCBs from concept through manufacturing.
- Create electronic schematics, PCB layouts, and production files.
- Perform DRC, DFM, and IPC compliance reviews.
- Select electronic components and analyze datasheets.
- Design power supply and battery management circuits.
- Design low-power embedded systems.
- Integrate sensors, wireless modules, and embedded peripherals.
Embedded Firmware

- Git.
- AI-assisted coding tools, such as Codex or Claude Code.
- Experience working in R&D environments.
What We Offer
You’ll design products before they exist.
One month, you may design the architecture of a connected medical device. The next, work on an AI-powered wearable. Then, on an Industrial IoT platform or a robotics system.
You’ll be part of a small, highly technical engineering team where technical decisions matter and you’ll have a direct influence on every product we develop.
If you enjoy variety, technical depth, and continuous learning, this is the right environment for you.
Success in Your First Six Months
- Deliver manufacturable PCB designs with minimal iterations.
- Develop reliable and maintainable embedded firmware.
- Become a trusted technical reference for hardware architecture.
- Help reduce prototype development time.
- Improve engineering processes and technical documentation.
- Contribute innovative ideas across multiple projects.
Who Thrives Here?
People who enjoy:
- Designing electronic systems from scratch.
- Solving multidisciplinary engineering challenges.
- Learning continuously.
- Building new products instead of maintaining legacy systems.
- Experimenting with new technologies.
- Transforming ideas into real products.
