Instructions — Cigar Humidor Controller
Step 1: Battery assembly.
- In the package, you will find a 'Cigar Humidor Controller' unit and a rechargeable battery

- Insert the battery into the device. The letters on the battery should remain exposed.
- Close the lid of the Cigar Humidor Controller.
Step 2: Connect your 'Cigar Humidor Controller.'
- Open your mobile phone - Cigar Humidor Controller is compatible with any operating system.
- Open the option: Settings and then the Wi-Fi menu.
- Select the Cigar Humidor network.
- Press the blue 'Configure WiFi' button.
- Select the known Wi-Fi network from the list and enter your usual password
- Complete the form displayed below
- Press the 'Save' button and place the device inside your humidor or cigar container.
Step 3: Operational verification
If all the settings are correct, you will receive a confirmation SMS
From that moment on, you will only receive SMS when the relative humidity of the cigar storage container or humidor is outside the range you defined in the configuration.
FAQ´s
It's possible that, by mistake. If you do not receive the confirmation SMS after completing the setup, you should follow the steps below:
- Open the device by turning the lid with the label to the left
- Press the Erase button and hold it down.
- Without releasing the Erase button, press and release the RST button
- When you see a flashing red light, you should also release the Erase button
- Repeat the entire setup process starting from Step #2 in the instructions
The device is set up not to disturb you unless necessary
To confirm that the device is working correctly, you can remove it from the humidor and take it to an environment that does not meet the humidity parameters you have defined.
Within 24-36 hours, you should receive an alert SMS.
In case your mobile phone doesn't identify the Wi-Fi network 'Cigar Humidor' to start the configuration, you should:
- Turn off and on the Wi-Fi connection option on your mobile phone.
- Wait for 1 minute to confirm the appearance of 'Cigar Humidor' in the list.
- If the network does not appear, you should open the device by turning the lid to the left.
- Press and release the RST button, then repeat the previous steps.
The device will notify you via SMS when a battery change is necessary.

Remember that the battery we have provided is rechargeable. You can charge it in a suitable device and reuse it.
After pressing 'Configure Wi-Fi,' you should see the list of available networks. In case the known network doesn't appear, you should follow the following steps:
- Verify that the Wi-Fi network you are locating is functioning correctly.
- Restart the network search option on your mobile device.
- Restart the activation process of the Humidor Controller starting from Step #2.
To reset the acceptable minimum and maximum humidity values, you will need to complete the 'Factory Reset' procedure.
