What is the salad bowl prototype about?

The salad bowl prototype is a modern kitchen gadget that allows salad dressing to drain into a special compartment. The bottom of the bowl features a customizable window system or a false bottom that lets users adjust the diameter of the holes through which the dressing is drained.

The bottom design of the salad bowl prototype allows customizing the size of the salad particles or the dressing itself that can drain along with the salad’s liquids.

The salad serving bowl prototype allows diners to make use of the salad dressing without exceeding proper table etiquette.

The base of the prototype is composed of containers integrated into the geometry, allowing the dressing to accumulate without distorting the shape of this kitchen utensil.

The interior of the prototype features a perforated surface and a false bottom that allows customizing the size of the holes connected to the bowl’s base. With very subtle movements, users can filter more or less dressing, which will then collect in the previously mentioned compartments.

The bowl features an internal mechanical opening system for particle filtering. By rotating the inner disc with holes of various diameters, a finer or coarser filter can be achieved in each case.

This prototype example has dimensions similar to those of a conventional bowl, and both its main structure and the compartments are designed to allow easy cleaning, either by hand or in a dishwasher.

As in previous models, the bowl maintains a comfortable geometry for both serving and mixing salads. Its structure can be configured to remain sealed at the bottom, while the dressing filter can be opened and used as desired. 

Cleaning the device is just as simple; it is dishwasher-safe, and the necessary measures have been taken to comply with food safety standards.
